A vast landscape deserves to be seen in its entirety—not just the grand view, but the microscopic details that give it life. To achieve this, I utilize Medium Format digital systems (Phase One and Hasselblad).
Unlike standard cameras, these sensors are significantly larger, allowing for a depth of color and “micro-contrast” that mirrors the human eye. This technology captures the subtle gradations of a desert shadow with a clarity that remains breathtaking even at life-sized scales.
2. The Medium
The Master Craft: Archival Metal
To capture the raw texture and silence of the wilderness, every work is materialized exclusively on archival, architectural-grade aluminum. Through high-pressure sublimation, pigments are infused directly into the metal, creating a monolithic print with an organic luminosity that paper behind glass cannot replicate.
Finished with a non-reflective satin surface, each piece gently diffuses ambient light. Suspended by an invisible floating frame, the artwork stands completely unobstructed—allowing the landscape to become the sole focus of your space.
